R de ROMER Bordeaux White - Château Romer

R de Romer is an atypical wine, very surprising. The nose is persistent, with white flowers, slightly fruity and buttery aromas. In mouth, freshness mingles with fruit, unctuous and roundness sensation that fills up the palate. Very fine balance, and the tasting evolves from one minute to the other. Enticing wine, fresh, to share as an apéritif or to pair with summer dishes.

Château Romer, Grand Cru Classé 1855 in Sauternes is one of the
oldest estates on the village of Fargues. It belonged to different noble families and now François Janoueix is taking care of the château.

Vintage 2023 marked the first harvest of dry white grapes from this estate, leading to an outstanding, surprising dry white wine. At the end of August and early in September, François Janoueix decided to handpick and select the best grapes to produce a
great dry white wine, leaving on the plants other grapes to be picked later to produce the Sauternes.
