Pouilly-Fuissé ‘Vieilles Vignes’ - Domaine Saumaize

An intense wine, with superb aromatic complexity in which fresh hazelnuts, roast almonds, honey and white flowers mingled together.

The wine is a blend of 4 climats from the south-facing slope of the Solutre rock, 2 of which are classified as 1er cru's. they are all planted on soils composed of marl and limestone pebbles. This Burgundy is a rich wine with exotic aromas while retaining a mineral structure typical of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.
