Pomerol - Château La Rose Montviel

The first vineyard in Pomerol bought by Catherine Péré-Vergé from the Cristal D’Arques glass family. Soft, forward, medium bodied and polished, the wine is soft, short and sweet, with nice cherry and plum note in the finish. This beautifully crafted claret has a deep, inviting nose of red and black fruits with earthy and smokey hints. The palate is dense and rich with flavours of spices, plums and blackcurrants. Sensuous soft tannins bring you to a velvety, complex finish.
