Marlborough - Clos Henri Estate Pinot Noir
Marlborough - Clos Henri Estate Pinot Noir
Please note: Minimum order of 12 bottles
The new Estate Range replaces the 'Petit Clos' – showing vivacity, concentration and brightness, the Estate wines are crafted from both our glacial stones and windblown clay terroirs. When re-imagining the labels, the Bourgeois family felt it was only fitting to pay tribute to the biodiversity by incorporating the indigenous species of the Marlborough Valley and sharing the story of their commitment to native replanting and re-establishment. This wine is intended to transport you to a place where our organic vines thrive and coexist with an abundance of New Zealand native species such as Kānuka and Mānuka.
Combining the best nuances of Marlborough and the family's Sancerre heritage, this organic Pinot Noir is their flagship wine from the Clos Henri estate in Blenheim.
"Aromas of violet, rose, red cherries and rosemary stem. Medium-bodied with silky tannins. Succulent and juicy, with a solid core of rounded red fruit. Oolong comes through. Lovely tension. Structured to age nicely. 94 points, James Suckling, 2022"
You’ll love the chocolatey nose, its deep black fruit and subtle smoky aromas. The mouth follows with luscious fruit with freshness and lithe tannins. A wine made to enjoy!
