Beaujolais - Fleurie - Domaine de Bel-Air ‘Granits Roses’

Nestled in the heart of Beaujolais, specifically Lantignie near Beaujeu, Domaine de Bel Air stands out under the guidance of Jean-Marc and Annick Lafont, who've refined their winemaking approach over two decades.

Their wines boast distinction on multiple fronts. They source grapes from 7 out of the 10 Beaujolais crus, aiming to showcase each terroir's essence. Employing techniques reminiscent of Burgundian reds, such as limited yields and oak barrel aging, sets them apart from local peers.

Through meticulous vineyard care and expert vinification, their wines exhibit notable concentration, velvety tannins, and the luscious fruit characteristic of Beaujolais.

Aged in oak, giving more intensity to the wine. The vines used are over twenty-five years old and planted in soils made from pink granite with large crystals. 

This cru produces wines full of finesse and very aromatic. They immediately seduce with their velvetiness, elegance and floral aromas. The palate is long, the tannins are fine with a nice freshness on the finish. 

A light to medium-bodied wine which matches many light cuisine and chicken dishes.
