Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Blanc 'Le Miocène' - Domaine Grand Veneur

White Châteauneuf du Pape is not very common so the white wine from this area is produced in very small quantities – it is fragrant and sumptuous and a true jewel in the crown.

Located in the place called "La Fontaine". The plot is ideally oriented for the production of great white wines of Châteauneuf du Pape. The plot is north-facing on clay-limestone slopes. It is very well ventilated, facing the wind (mistral). This sector allows the Roussanne and the Clairette to ripen slowly but optimally while maintaining a magnificent freshness.

The colour is pale yellow, with a hint of green. The nose reveals fine aromas of white flowers (hawthorn, honeysuckle) and fine spices. On the palate, it is a pleasant balance between liveliness and roundness that brings out characters of dried apricot, honey and elderberry. A white Châteauneuf du Pape of great finesse.
