Bordeaux Superieur - Chateau De L’Hoste ‘Vieilles Vignes’

The grapes, from old vines over 40 years old, are harvested at optimal maturity. They are then vinified in a purely traditional way and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. All our wines are bottled at the Château.

An intense, almost black colour. A powerful, elegant nose, combining notes of red fruits, vanilla and toasted aromas. With the concentration to be expected from old vines along with ripe, juicy blackcurrant fruits, this full-bodied, wood-aged and spicy wine will develop quickly. Fine tannins and generous fruitiness are given structure by a dry core, ready for aging.
