Alsace - Pinot Gris - Jean Geiler ‘Inspiration Terroirs'

The light will reveal a bright yellow colour with pronounced golden highlights. The nose gives off aromas of ripe fruit typical of a wine from overripe grapes. Powerful and smooth on the palate, this great seducer charms with notes of candied fruit at the end.

Our winemaker carefully follows special rules from the Alsace appellation. He controls the maturity of the selected plots until the harvest, which usually starts at the beginning of or mid-September. The bunches are crushed in our pneumatic press on low-pressure programs. After fermentation and vinification, the wine stays many months on lies, in tanks to gain in structure, before bottling at the end of spring.
